Brash, crude and very funny. Eddie Murphy's third film is an entertaining, if empty-headed, cop film in which he plays a street-smart Detroit detective investigating the murder of a friend in posh Beverly Hills. Detective Alex Foley is back and he's coming after you.Eddie Murphy has signed on to star in a fourth version of Beverly Hills Cop, scheduled for release in 2010.Variety reports Murphy himself approached Paramount brass about reviving the comedy franchise that first hit the big screen in 1984.
